Another great boutique hotel very close to the centre of Cheltenham and a short-ish distance from the Cheltenham Racecourse.Relatively new owners who are pumping money into the place to smarten it up and modernise it.

Quirky hotel but great location for exploring Cheltenham. This hotel is not suitable for anyone with a mobility issue as the stairs are all incredibly steep and also the entrance steps are extremely steep and narrow. Free customer parking is a bonus as the square is full of parked vehicles. The room was clean if dated and certainly requires some tlc. Staff are charming and helpful. Breakfast was adequate there was quite a choice.

The hotel is period and has a loveky ambience. The room was well stock and perfect for our short stay. The location is excellent with parking included which was so welcome. The food in tge restaurant at night was 5 star and the breakfast was excellent, easily the best I have been served in any hotel I have stayed. Produce used is excellent. All staff are professional, extremely courteous and very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Dog friendly period hotel that is clean and well placed in the city centre. Breakfast buffet pretty basic but the hot food served to order tasted great. Plus points for the off road parking, electric vehicle charging point and the dog walking park directly opposite in the square.

Stayed here at least four times now. The rooms are generally a good size with excellent beds and thick curtains to block out the light. I'm a poor sleeper but sleep well there. There is an issue with the showers in some rooms as there is no door, the bathroom floor gets wet. Irritating but not a big deal.Staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a bar and restaurant but note the restaurant isn't open on Monday nights. You can walk in to Cheltenham centre in 5m so plenty of choice for food, drinks and shopping. There isn't much parking but I have been able to park everytime I have been there.Thoroughly recommended and a great value place to stay
